Chevrolet has finally decided to bring back the iconic Blazer nameplate – and we have to say, they couldn’t have chosen a better vehicle for the occasion. The all-new 2019 Chevy Blazer will be looking to raise the bar in the competitive crossover segment, providing a long list of standard features and powerful powertrain options. Here’s a quick 2019 Chevy Blazer preview.
What To Expect
To start off, the 2019 Blazer will have two engine options for its power source. The standard engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, which produces 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. For the second engine option, you get a massive power boost. This 3.6-liter V6 puts out 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. Both engines come mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and you have the option of either front- or all-wheel drive.
Depending on your engine set up, when the Blazer is properly equipped you can tow up to 4,500 pounds – an impressive amount of capability for a crossover. But its performance and capabilities aren’t the only notable traits the all-new Blazer has to offer. Its interior is incredibly well-equipped, no matter which of the three trim levels you choose.
These three trims include the base Blazer, the athletic Blazer RS, and the opulent Blazer Premium. Each one comes with their own standard features that help them stand up in the lineup, from the RS trim level’s blacked-out exterior and red interior accents to the high-quality materials used in the Premium.
Standard features for the Blazer include innovations like dual-zone climate control, Chevy’s latest MyLink® infotainment system, an eight-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay™, and Android Auto™.
We can’t wait for the latest Chevy Blazer to arrive out our dealership early next year.
