As if the groundbreaking Chevrolet Bolt wasn’t already catching headlines – offering up to 200 miles on a single electric charge – spy photographers have revealed some more huge news about the electric vehicle.

Chevrolet has been caught testing self-driving Chevy Bolt models on the streets of San Francisco, apparently ultimately with plans to work with the transportation company Lyft to escort passengers, after investing millions in the company.

Whether Chevy plans to sell these models to the public or simply use them for commercial purposes is up for speculation. In the meantime, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more news.
