Both the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and the GMC Sierra 1500 were completely redesigned. However, it seems GM has big plans for the interior of the 2021 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. Industry reports say that GM is going to give both trucks more sophisticated and modern interiors.
While GM has not officially confirmed any updates, we think the revamped interiors will feature larger, tablet-like touchscreens and more premium materials. GM could also add desirable features like an available panoramic sunroof or seats with massage capabilities.
It seems these updates are coming after critics found the interiors of both trucks to not have as many premium features and modern amenities as the competition. Now, GM is taking that criticism to heart and will work hard to impress its critics, and more importantly, fans and customers like you.
If you can’t wait until 2021 to get a new truck, don’t worry. The current 2020 lineup is versatile and impressive. Both the Silverado and Sierra trucks offer six powerful powertrain choices, advanced technology options, and class-leading cargo volume in all three bed sizes. The cabins are also spacious, comfortable, and user-friendly. The Silverado even offers best-in-class V8 power and towing, when properly equipped.
