China took over as the world’s largest automotive market and many brands have been seeing great success. Chevrolet has been one of the many mass-market automakers that are struggling, but General Motors have a plan to revitalize the brand. With the launch of five new Chevrolet vehicles, the long-time American brand is about to make waves in the Chinese market.
Chevrolet’s new phase of growth officially kicked off with the introduction of the Chevrolet Cruze XL and Malibu XL. Both models are similar to those we have here in the United States that are sold minus the XL. Over the next few months, the brand will launch five additional vehicles.

Some of the vehicles may not be entirely new, however, instead boasting major upgrades. As for exactly what the five will be, we already know an SUV and a performance vehicle will make the cut. Both of those vehicles will hit both the North American and Chinese markets.
With the introduction of the Chevrolet Cruze XL, the old model is ready to be rebadged as the Cavalier. There’s no word as to whether or not that model is included in the five new vehicles.
We here at Diamond Auto Group can’t wait to see what vehicles arrive in China!
